Accurate measuring is essential to getting a perfectly fitted custom bra! All measurements are taken without a bra on. Do not add wiggle room to the measurements, or your bra will be too loose.
Lift your breasts and have someone measure your under bust. Around your body as close to the base of your breasts as you can get. Make sure the measuring tape is snug, but not uncomfortably tight.
Measure around the largest part of your bust. Do this measurement while bent over so that your breasts are hanging towards the floor. This will ensure there is enough room in the cups. You can send a standing bust measurement as well, and we'll use the average.
For the hip measurement (camisole only), measure around the largest part of your hips. If you're pregnant - measure just below the belly, around the pelvis and butt.
What sizes can we accommodate? We can make bras for 35 - 62 inch bust and 30 - 51 inch underbust, with up to an 18" difference between those measurements (P cup). The cross front version is only tested up to H/I cup, which is an 11 inch difference between bust and underbust. The camisole hip measurement is unlimited.

Our bra is designed to fit during and after pregnancy. For the camisole, add a note for a maternity version and we'll add more fabric around the belly.
For a breastfeeding bra, choose from our breastfeeding bras.
Our unique pumping panel is designed for hands free pumping. You can also nurse by moving over the underpanel, like a traditional cross front bra. Our pumping bras are available here.
Having trouble deciding which strap type to go with? We have two options - padded, and plush elastic. They are both adjustable, the padded less so. The padded straps are made from two layers of the same fabric as the bra, with a layer of foam sandwiched between.
If you have trouble with straps slipping off your shoulders, go with the elastic straps. The elastic straps grip the shoulders better and are less likely to move around.
Can I order now and measure later? Yes. You can send an email, call/text, or chat with us here after your order with measurements.
Do I need to measure every time I order? We keep your measurements on file for repeat ordering. If your previous bras still fit well then you can skip the measuring!
How long do they take to make? Sewing time is around one week, often sooner.
Can I send fabric to you? Yes, you can have fabric sent to us. Special types of fabric are needed, so please check with us first! We can get about 2 bras out of one yard of fabric. The rate is $40/hr when supplies are provided and each bra takes around an hour.
